About Cusco

Cusco, the gateway to Machu Picchu, is where our tour begins. Explore the legacy of the Inca Empire, the largest ever in America and in the world during its reign. The legacy the Incas left behind can be found in the wonderous ruins in Cusco and the Sacred Valley. You will see the Incan descendants struggling to preserve their culture by continuing to speak Quechua, the native language, and maintaining other customs such as the clothes worn and the food they eat.   A whole trip can focus solely on this amazing city or we can explore areas outside of Cusco.
